Data Practices Basics: This presentation is an introduction the requirements of the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, including data classifications, responding to data requests, and required policies and procedures. It will also cover a few specific provisions related to the procurement processes.

Taya Moxley-Goldsmith:
Taya Moxley-Goldsmith is the Director of the Data Practices Office at the Minnesota Department of Administration. Ms. Moxley-Goldsmith received a B.A. with Honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a J.D. from Hamline University School of Law. Prior to joining the Department in 2008, Ms. Moxley-Goldsmith was employed as a Senior Attorney Editor at Thomson-Reuters and a Staff Attorney at the National Center for Prosecution of Child Abuse.
