January 2016 starts a new and exciting year for MN NIGP.  This meeting will see the installation of new board members and the proposed budget for the coming year.  Nick Mezacapa, featured at the 2015 Fall Conference, will present "You're Your Own Best Coach".  Hope to see you there.

Nick Mezacapa has inspired audiences across the country with his exceptional and unforgettable motivational presentations. Building upon the theme “Survival and Spirituality,” Nick has developed profoundly inspirational and motivational presentations for conferences, events, team-building sessions and retreats. Nick's unique and innovative style weaves captivating personal life experiences with the refreshing and inspiring messages he has to share. From the newly hired to the nearly retired, Nick’s stimulating presentations provide refreshing insight, encouragement, and revelation to the young and experienced alike.

Nick has been an ordained Episcopal Priest for the past 25 years and for the past 20 years has served as the rector of Calvary Episcopal Church in Rochester, MN (right across the street from the Mayo Clinic). Before coming to Minnesota he served churches in Iowa, Michigan, and New York. A graduate of Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio, he was trained as a teacher and athletics coach and worked in the academic field for seven years. It was after his teaching career that he attended Colgate/Rochester/Bexley Hall/Crozer Divinity School in Rochester, New York to receive his Master’s in Divinity Degree and subsequent ordination to the priesthood.
